Why is My Cashback Claim Taking So Long?

We understand it can be frustrating when your cashback claim takes longer than expected. At Quidco, we're committed to getting you your cashback as quickly as possible, but sometimes things are a little outside of our control. Here's a peek behind the scenes to explain why:

The Cashback Journey

  1. Your Claim is Submitted: When you raise a missing cashback claim with us, we don't just keep the money! We send your claim to the retailer (or 'merchant') through our affiliate network partners.

  2. Merchant Review: The merchant then needs to review your claim. They check their records to make sure your purchase is valid and meets the terms and conditions of the cashback offer.

  3. Approval (or Decline): The merchant will either approve or decline your claim. If approved, great news! But the process isn't over yet...

  4. Waiting for Payment: Even when a claim is approved, we still need to wait for the merchant to actually send us the cashback you've earned.

  5. Cashback in Your Account! Once the merchant pays us, we can add the cashback to your Quidco account.

Why Delays Happen

  • Merchant Processing Times: Each merchant has its own process for reviewing and approving cashback claims. Some are super speedy, while others can take a bit longer.

  • Payment Schedules: Merchants also have different payment schedules. Some pay us weekly, others monthly, and some even less frequently.

  • Unforeseen Circumstances: Sometimes, technical glitches or other unforeseen issues on the merchant's end can cause further delays.

What Quidco is Doing to Help

We're constantly working with our merchant partners and affiliate networks to speed up the cashback process. We chase them regularly for updates on outstanding claims and do everything we can to ensure timely payments.

Important Note

While we do our best to secure your cashback, it's important to remember that ultimately, the final decision and payment come from the merchant. In rare cases, a merchant may not pay us the cashback, even if the claim is approved.
