When you visit a retailer via Quidco, small pieces of data called 'cookies' are recorded on your browser. Each visit you make is recorded on our site as a 'click-through'.

We use this data to see which retailer you visited and whether a purchase took place, once we know that a purchase was made, a transaction will 'track' onto your Quidco account displaying your expected cashback amount.

The retailer will then check over the data to determine if the latest cookie on your browser before you purchased was Quidco, meaning that Quidco referred you to the retailer. Once Quidco has been seen as your referrer your cashback will update to 'confirmed' and you'll be able to withdraw it.
